From master data to executable work
ReX begins with Master Data Work Items, which define standardized maintenance or production requirements. When selected for an asset, these Work Items become executable tasks tailored to that specific asset and its work scope.
Each task provides the artisan with everything required to safely and correctly perform the work, including:
Controlled Work Instructions
Detailed instructions governed through validation and approval workflows before release to production.
Technical & Safety References
Direct access to technical documentation, safety information, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) requirements.
Recordable Requirements
Structured capture of critical execution data such as torque values, measurements, serial numbers, part numbers, and other required results.
Quality Inspection Points
Configurable before, during, and after-task inspections that establish quality gates throughout execution rather than relying solely on final inspection.
Component Actions & Traceability
Tracks required removal, installation, replacement, and other component actions while maintaining the real-time status and configuration of components associated with the asset.
Qualification Requirements
Validates required training, certifications, or qualifications before allowing personnel to start or complete designated work.
Task Labor Time Reporting
Captures actual labor time against each task for individuals, teams, and machines, giving accurate hours for costing, estimating, and identifying bottlenecks.
Built for Data Integrity and Quality Control
This execution model makes data collection and quality control part of performing the work—not a separate administrative process. Required information can be captured and validated at the point of execution, providing a detailed history of what was performed, on which asset or component, by whom, under which approved instructions, and with what recorded results and inspections.
Because requirements are configurable at the Work Item and task level, ReX can support different levels of process control across manufacturing, remanufacturing, overhaul, repair, inspection, and other maintenance environments. Organizations can define the level of documentation, traceability, qualification, inspection, and data capture appropriate for each type of work.
The result is a flexible execution framework capable of meeting or exceeding demanding data integrity, traceability, safety, and quality-control requirements while providing real-time visibility into asset configuration, component status, work progress, and production schedules.
ReX puts the shop floor first—managing the complete execution process while providing enterprise systems with the accurate, validated data they need.
